I hate when I see the comments on a reel or post that are people sharing "similar" life experiences to the post. I don't care. I just watched a comedian I like tell a funny story about having a mouse in his home, and the comments were all long ass paragraphs of people sharing there stories of mice in there homes. No one cares. This was supposed to be a funny post, and your stories in this context are not funny.

I have had this exact thought before. Actually I remember the day it hit me it was so funny when I noticed it. I was probably sitting down and looking at my phone just like you were.

The news coverage of the Jimmy Kimmel incident in the local media. It's just totally out of proportion. There have been probably hundreds of articles about it and it just keeps going on.

Journalists are getting killed every year, some of them silenced by their own government, but those incidents never receive a media spectacle like this, when a multi millionaire talk show host, whose job is to tell jokes and interview celebrities is suspended for a ~week.

It just shows how US centric our media is.

It's about how much attention things happening in the US are getting in our media, whether it's this incident or something else like the "Free Britney" which was followed for weeks by our biggest news media's. Enough is enough. Or give me news about the lack of freedom of speech in some other country where the incident does not involve somebody from the entertainment industry.
