I was rooting for both teams, but that graphic they showed that the Mariners were the only MLB team to not go to the World Series had me rooting for them a little bit more.

when we lived in Manhattan beach California I would see him many mornings walking along the strand at the beach...I only said hi a few times because I didn't want to bother him and tell him I was a super fan when he played

We went to a Cards / Expos game in Montreal in 1987 when we lived in NY state near the Canadian border. Olympic stadium was a terrible place for baseball.

I didn’t particularly care after losing on Monday but now that the WS has started I find myself rooting for the Dodgers. Can’t explain it.
