Then whomever does lights looks to be as excited as I am for a Stone solo.

Getaway was great, but tuned down. Immortality was the highlight to me. An amazing solo from Mike. Watchtower was fun. Decent gig, awful crowd. Zero energy compared to Charlottesville. Sadly, last night was so much better.
I might be able to get to an E-bow.

Will write more tomorrow. I know Chloe liked Charlottsville better, but the guys played tight tonight. Immortality was sick, especially Mike's solo.

Band was still spot on but the crowd was amazingly bad in comparison to last night. Can't help but think that is why they cut the songs they did.
I hate to say I love you,

Solid but unspetacular.
More thoughts later.

2nd to Last Show Syndrome, I told you.
Is this a thing now? During the last big east coast run in 2010, the last show was better than the second to last. But what's interesting is that in this run, I liked the first of the back-to-back shows better than the second (WOR1, BK1, PHL1). In the past it's usually been a safe bet that the second night was more interesting than the first but maybe with age they just don't have the energy for it.

Back on topic. Last nights show looks pretty good on paper, so if the crowd sucked that's too bad. Maybe the crowd had a hangover from C-ville.

Going all the way back to 2000, I think the majority of 2nd to last show has been the far superior show. Just go take a look. But it's all just opinions ;)

This is a good example of how down-tuning can make a song sound completely bland.

No it's not.

IT IS BLAND.

God forbid Pearl Jam fans ever admit to actually liking Pearl Jam when Pearl Jam does something Pearl Jam wants to do. Song rocks. The album rocks. These sets have been incredible and they sound like they're still in their 30's.

The main set and first encore were really great. I didn't have a problem with the crowd. I didn't care for the second encore though. But that's probably because I hate the Real Me and I've seen it about 5 times live now.

Not sure if this was posted, but at one point Eddie mentioned how the new album was number one, and they didn't have to show their tits to get there. Stone then showed his tits. He and Eddie joked about it again later in the show. I've never seen those two interact that much on stage. I thought they just always tolerated each other out there.

Ed's doing that thing where you can hear him fighting against singing it in the normal key (as I presume that's what his brain/ears kind of expect), particular in that breakdown verse around 1:20.

Very nice poster. Possibly best of leg. I also like Pitt, Philly 2 and Baltimore.
