I think most of us are considering the Jays the Champions. In our hearts and souls.

I really feel for Jays fans today, they had so many chances to take over this series, but it’s not surprising that a team with 4 sure-fire HOFers can find a way to win.

Mookie going into Cooperstown wearing a Dodgers cap is going to be my 9/11.

It would kill me to ever see Ernie Clement in another jersey. He needs to be a Blue Jay for life.

I am pro Clemens and Bonds (and A-Rod, Manny, etc etc). I would vote for them among this group, although I doubt it will happen.

Based on credentials, I don't think any of the others are shoe-in HOFers, although I wonder if Valenzuela will come close or get over the hump because he was such a cultural phenomenon during his peak years.

Last time, they elected Fred McGriff unanimously and Mattingly got 8 out of 16 votes. So there's a chance for Mattingly there, but I'm not so sure.

I predict both Fernando Valenzuela and Jeff Kent will be picked, maybe even Carlos Delgado. I'd vote for him.

None of the steroids guys.

On the regular side, I don't see any first-ballot guys who look even remotely close to ever getting in. Carlos Beltran came so close last time it's hard to imagine he won't get in this time. Andruw Jones, too, mostly because his vote counts tick up each year and he is getting close and the ballot is weak this year. So maybe

I am obviously biased, but Valenzuela should make it in. Nando is legendary in Mexico.
He's also pretty fresh on everyone's mind with the Dodger's winning game 7 on his would-be 65th birthday.

Wow, I didn’t know they were giving out a Best Story award. If so, Raleigh did get robbed!
