Has anyone been brave enough to spin the new Grimes tune? It sounds good. I just can't get over how much of an idiot she is these days.

Yeah it's good. I feel like she's always been kind of an idiot so not much has changed there for me. I like the chorus a lot, and how the song starts off with the same synthetic voice as the start of "Ima Read"

I listened to the new Lily Allen album out of curiosity and I think it's not good. I don't really know her work so maybe this is just sort of what she does. The tunes are whatever and I really dislike this type of lyricism. Hyperspecific with no depth or artfulness, just very plain, "this happened, and then this happened, and then you said this and then we did that", every single song. "Ruminating" is catchy though

Lyrically, this is exactly what she's always done. I find it refreshing because I don't listen to a ton of stuff like that. I also think she knows how to write catchy songs. Her work never blows my mind but I always enjoy it. This new album isn't any different. Some redundancies, some cringe, some laughs, and I find myself humming along even when the songs are over.

I think the new Florence and the Machine record is outstanding. Obviously, if you don't dig her whole thing, I don't think it'll change your mind. But as a fan, I think it might be her best album.

I'm a few days behind you guys, but I also wanted to jump on the bandwagon and say how surprised I was to listen to the new single from Rosalia and hear that it was like all that. And also that I really liked it and am looking forward to the full album

New Armand Hammer this week. I haven’t listened to any singles but it’s another collab with Alchemist. Also woods dropped a redux version of Golliwog title Gowillog, which is a reimagining of his album released earlier this year. All new beats from August Fanon, and a couple completely new tracks tossed in. It sounds pretty great.

Beastwars' new album, The Ship // The Sea, absolutely crushes. Fans of High on Fire should check it out.
