In the R&B / Soul / Funk world I love dozens and dozens of others but I'm not sure anyone else is as ride or die as those three for the entirety of my life. I have obsessions that come and go but those three are forever. This is just me personally. I'm sure we could all come up with a list of artist that are as culturally important but I'm just talking me.

If you are talking all of R&B and soul, wouldn’t James Brown, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, and Marvin Gaye have to all be there on that list?
