God, nobody enjoyed DGC Rarities? I was so excited that got reissued!

Anyhow, I just upgraded my ancient, struggling version of Led Zeppelin II to one of the recent reissues. I don't know why THAT was the LZ album that took me so long to upgrade. It's one of my favorite albums.

I would also buy DGC rarities. Very nostalgic.

Well I removed the record player from the barn and took it back in the house for the winter. After restocking my records I realized I’m out of shelf space. Fuck.

Haha. Ahhh yes, shelves. My wife has a wild idea for our next housing upgrade. A wood burning fireplace that runs both floors and will be flanked by record shelves. It will be sweet but oh man it will be expensive.

My kid wants to start listening to records. If I don't care about sound quality, what is the cheapest record player I can buy him that won't damage records?

He's got this thing on his wishlist, but I suspect it damages records like a Crosley suitcase player.
