I'm really starting to dig into Silksong. This game is absolutely huge. I've found it to be challenging, but not overly punishing so far. I finally had enough cash for all of the map features.

Have gotten back into Hades. It's a spectacular game and pretty much the perfect roguelike.

I thought the first hades was cool other than the fact I hate the concept of roguelike games

Well I feel like I better start getting my money’s worth with Game Pass now, so today I started the Oblivion remaster. I twice tried to start Oblivion on my PS3 but abandoned it after just a few hours of playing each time. It might be crazy starting a game like this three and a half weeks before the Outer Worlds 2 comes out, but we’ll see how far I can get.

Game Pass has cooked this year and this is another good month. Keeper (Double Fine, so should be good), Ninja Gaiden 4, and Outer Worlds 2 is a nice lineup. That's why I'm leaning towards keeping GP Ultimate. I am not buying these games outright and would only try on GP, so it's still a good service to me as long as they keep up the cadence they've gotten into a rhythm with on day one games. There's been so much backlash that I hope they re-think the prices, but I doubt it.

I like this so far, it definitely feels more like a Skyrim-era game than the original, but one big difference is that there just aren’t as many quests available. I’ve been to three towns I think and I’ve gotten something like 5 quests total? After talking to every NPC I can. Mind you I haven’t explored the capitol yet and I imagine there will be a lot of stuff there, but it’s noticeable so far.

Been playing some games on this new ROG Xbox Ally X. Keeper is great, very artsy, not a lot of gameplay but some relatively easy puzzles.

But I started Doom: The Dark Ages and it runs really well and is super fun. Doom: Eternal was way too fast for my old ass so enjoying it slowing down just a bit.

Bought Ghosts of Tsushima and started it on the handheld.

Holy hell, that's how you start a game. Probably one of the better introductions to a character and a game I've seen.

Really taking my time with Outer Worlds 2, really like it so far. Lots of things to do, constantly finding new characters and stuff to clear. I’m only halfway through the first area at this point.

I’m about 48 hours into The Outer Worlds 2, really trying to do every quest and explore as much of each map as possible. Finally on what I think is the last world, although I think there will be a bit of backtracking before it’s all done.

As I think always happens, if you’re a Bethesda/Obsidian RPG fan, you’ll be familiar with most of the mechanics, and I have always just loved filling my log with tons of quests and exploring. I’m happy with the open-area setup again as opposed to open-world, although there are some areas that feel pretty linear. Love the different factions. Not sure yet whom I’m going to side with at the end.

Finished Outer Worlds 2 (thought the length was perfect, I feel like I was just starting to get bored when it ended, although I wish there wasn’t a level cap).

Was pumped to start something new and different but ended up booting up Oblivion again lol

Someday I’ll grow a pair and start Blue Prince.

Wrapped up the platinum for Ghost of Yotei. Now back to finish Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion.

Also dabbling in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Donkey Kong Bananza.

Enjoying the Black Ops 6 campaign. Definitely quite different from any other COD campaign. Lots of stealth gameplay, and now I'm on an open-world section that feels like Assassin's Creed.

I've heard really good things about the campaign. The whole thing is basically a drug trip?

Anyone tried Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? Looks really fun. Tempted to just go all-in and buy the complete edition to get the story expansions.

I finished the main quest of Oblivion and feel pretty good with putting aside for now. I am considering picking Avowed back up next, but that’s a lot of Bethesda-style RPGs in a row, so I may swerve…into something like Pillars of Eternity lol

First-timing Pokemon Black (DS) on one of those handheld, Linux-based Gameboy-looking things. I fumbled hard by giving up on Pokemon half way through Diamond or Sapphire or whatever. This game is an actual masterpiece. Unreal.

I was overthinking this, I’m downloading Clair Obscur. Won’t get to play until after the weekend but I’m looking forward to it.

I have an Xbox one still. I don’t play many games, mainly GTA and PUBG. So last week I fire up PUBG and get a connection error. I thought it was a fluke and searched for fixes. Talked about reinstalling blah blah so I said I’ll wait until thanksgiving vacation. Tried again yesterday same error. I look it up and apparently the Nov 13th patch update disabled support for older gen consoles. I can’t play PUBG anymore unless I get a new Xbox. Kind of a bummer.
