Super pumped for this. Did you read the book?
No, the book didn’t have a killer Dessner soundtrack.
How do you know if you didn't read it?

Don't let that distract you from Bugonia.

Holy shit I loved Bugonia.

It's official - Jesse Plemons is the greatest actor of his generation. Fantastic performance by Emma Stone as well.

Re: the ending, which I loved:
Spoiler: show
I knew it!

The Nick Cave tune over the credits is a banger.

Wowza.
Surprising how little buzz this movie seems to have generated. It's not quite as good as OBAA but it's bloody fantastic.
I was hooked by the first trailer. I stayed for the Green Day torture scene.

Tried watching Eddington earlier. Got eight minutes in before realizing that I could not bring myself to give a shit. Never gonna watch that one. Oh well

Eddington is great, and its greatness starts to set in once it reveals that its protagonist is a moron. Very fun and very well-crafted movie.

This one didn’t really land for me. A bit too obvious.

Watched this last night with the wife - acting was superb all round. Quite enjoyed the whole thing

2 this weekend and the new Beatles anthology episode.

HIM: I knew I what I was in for, but I wanted to judge for myself. Yeah it falls short. Found it entertaining enough though. Harmless.
Good Fortune: Liked it a lot. Feels like this type of movies are not being made anymore. I immediately craved giving Dogma a re-watch as the credits rolled up.
