At work, we sometimes use smartsheets to submit questions and comments and whatnot.
There's a box to check at the bottom if you want a copy of your question sent to you. If you check that, you have to re-enter your e-mail address.
Fuckers, you collected my e-mail address above. Send the copy to THAT address. Why would I want you to copy my question to one address and answer my question to another address?
This is probably a microsoft product.

There's no better thank you for a donation than to sign me up for a newsletter that I didn't ask for.

Dish/tea towels that look nice but have shitty absorption/drying ability. My wife specializes in procuring these.

Re: Things you have an irrational hatred of
As my generation approaches 40 I've started seeing many of my peers share these annoying TikToks or Instagram reels with captions like "THIS WILL MAKE YOU FEEL OLD -- this song is 20 years old!!!" and it'll be like... Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" or some other song that was popular when we were in high school. And yeah. That song feels 20 years old to me. Whatever song it is, I'm always confused by why they're shocked it's old.

Re: Things you have an irrational hatred of
I think it depends on what you tend to listen to day to day. If you still exclusively listen to songs from 20 years ago then you've got little frame of reference.
But as an example, yeah, Hollaback Girl feels fully 20 years old.
I mean, fuck. Drop it like it's Hot, Hey Ya, Since You Been Gone, Toxic and Boulevard of Broken Dreams were all released the same year. They all feel AT LEAST 20 years old too.
This is a reasonable irrational hatred.

I used to follow a band in high school whose drummer just quit because he's too old to drum for an entire tour.

Re: Things you have an irrational hatred of
I think those reactions are generally less about the song “feeling” old or not and more about the realization that it’s been 20 years since you were in high school. Generally, I don’t think people are actively thinking about stuff like that, and hearing the age of cultural milestones from the era can be a somewhat shocking reminder.
