I think for me there would be two keys:
1) The pretenders need to stay in character around me at all times. I don’t ever want to see behind the curtain. Those images of everyone cleaning up after the gambling scene were unsettling.
2) The world needs to bustle around me. I’m not waiting in lines or at stoplights anymore, but the world feels alive.

Assuming they aren’t among the dead…
I’m attending sold out concerts frequently. I don’t write the setlists, but neither does Eddie.
I’m regularly playing pickleball with the body of my best friend and ping pong with my lunch friends.
I’m traveling the world by day with the bodies of my family and friends. The Cena cameo made me realize that the voice is enough for me to suspend disbelief.
By night, I’m alone or with the bodies of an actress or a woman I knew or a woman I saw that day. Not my wife. I’ll never pretend at love. Pure hedonism.
The travel and adventures will be disrupted by periods of gaming and binge-watching tv.
I’ll still work out regularly. I think that’s my weirdest realization.

If/when it gets boring, I’ll ask for heroin.
See above discussion with regards to your hedonism dream.

Would these be archival TV shows, or new material created by the hive?

Archived was my thought, but the possibility of shows tailored to my likes is interesting.

I think I’d also enjoy having football and hockey games with the best athletes in the world equipped with the know-how of the hive mind.

stellar episode, one of the best; once S1 is all out, I'm going to watch it all again and reevaluate the less interesting parts in context

Enjoyed it. That guy's principled to a fault. He should have died. I can't imagine rewatching all these episodes. Once is more than enough, with all the slow, detailed montages and stuff.

About halfway through this episode, I thought to myself, “Yeah, what the actor is doing is impressive, but I feel like Carol should be starting to lose it by now?” Shows how well the episodes are paced that she then immediately has a breakdown.

Also, patiently waiting for Jorge’s accent review. How’d they do with northern Colombia?

Those trees are a thing? The existence of the Darien Gap kind of blows my mind.

It will be interesting to see how Carol and the guy go along. They both seems impossible human beings.

I know it was two episodes ago, but “My mother was a bitch” was such an incredible line to end episode 6.

I enjoyed that a lot of the contemporary music from the latest episode was Carol singing to herself

The Darien Gap also blows my mind, and I also thought it was a cool choice to have Carol Caroling the songs

Got big “person falls in love with ChatGPT” vibes from certain scenes this episode
