This was really mediocre.

I thought it was slick and fun, though the ending scene of like "now the immigrants run the mansion" was peak liberal cringe, but I was shocked that this got Best Picture attention. Totally forgettable.

I thought it had cliched overacting characters, predictable (knew where it was going after no more than 15 minutes), lacked humor or suspense, but had one good role, and was mildly entertaining.

Wake Up Dead Man is good, not great. It holds to the Knives Out formula that relies more on the performances than it does on the relatively benign storytelling. I’ll be happy to watch more of these.

Im not saying he is not happy or his career is over.
Its just that i thought he was going to make another type of movies. Probably more important ones. After working for SW he seems to be in auto pilot for this series.
