How have the rest of you NLC guys digested the album so far?

Still stuffing your faces with regular listens after 2 weeks? Or is your belly full and now you're just picking at the leftovers?

I can't get in the car without starting the album it seems. I tried to go back to QOTSA for 1 list of Like Clockwork, but then came right back to the LB.

I'm on a little break from the album right now. Listened to it regularly for the first couple of weeks. I had no interest in anything else. I'm listening to Arcade Fire's album this week. I'm sure I'll be back on LB again next week.

I'm still listening to it at least once a day and as I mentioned on the LB thread (which seems to be dying a slow death) I still haven't skipped a single song yet! :P

Also, I'm holding off on the new Arcade Fire for another week or so cuz I don't want anything to get between me and the LB right now. Very very happy with this album. :luv:

I'm glad I didn't join this club with the intent of waiting till I had my physical copy before listening.... Still waiting for this thing to show up

I'm still giving this album at least one full spin a day, often twice, and still without skipping any tracks. But I'm in the same boat as harmless, where the album has stopped growing. This is a little disappointing, because I always enjoy the growing stage, and this period felt a little short for this one.

It'll be interesting if seeing PJ live in January will add any more depth to the album.

I just got arcade fire, been occasionally substituting the new dr dog and head and heart albums. I listen LB at least once a day in full and havent really skipped anything yet.

I also feel like the album has reached its growth limit. I still enjoy it though.

Ranks

Swallowed whole
Getaway

Sleeping by myself
Pendulum
Yellow moon
My fathers son

Infallible
Lightning bolt
Mind your manners

Let the records play
Future days
Sirens

Sirens is the only one that is losing steam. It has been mentioned, and I agree that it seems like Ed (maybe for the second batch of songs) had writers block and looked through his old notebooks for lyrics. Seems like an awful lot of references to lyrics in prior songs.

I took a break after about 4 days of listening, just so I didn't get sick of it.
I just started listening to it again, and I still enjoy it quite a bit. There really isn't a song that I find terrible.

The standouts for me are still getaway, my fathers son, pendulum, infallible, and yellow moon. I think those are all really good songs. The rest would fall under the "good" or "decent" categories.

Still waiting for my vinyl though..

Im going trough a new love phase with the album. Maybe because i have the vinyl, maybe because i took some time off from it...i dont know, but the first run of song until SW is a keeper.
The fallon performance of LB helped too. Im still in love with that ending.
