I got an NES when I was 5 (i think). I was in Kindergarten. Gyromite was definitely my favorite game between SMB, Duck Hunt and Gyromite.
I got a Saturn when I was 14. I was really into video games at that age. I still look back at my Saturn very fondly.
Nothing for me is close to those 2 gifts.

I think the only console I got for Christmas was the original Playstation.

This all started with my grandma buying an NES for my family in 1990.

I was about 5 and my sister was about 12 when we got an NES. I think it was her birthday present though. I remember going with my dad to buy it.

It's great to read about everyone's favorite gifts, and it's a reminder that sometimes the best gifts aren't always the biggest or most expensive, but the ones that create lasting memories. Thanks for sharing, everyone!

Same for me, only it was my Dad who bought the NES. Think we had an Atari before that, but that was mostly consumed by my older brother....

N64 Xmas 96 untouchable gift. No clue how my parents obtained it. Probably stood in line at Target all night.
