I peeled the label off my Greek yogurt and discovered it had a recipe on the underside for an avocado toast that uses Greek yogurt. I happened to have all of the ingredients on hand, in which I needed to use, so I tried it. It was strange, but tasty? Doubt I'll do it again, but at least I used up all the items I needed to get rid of.

i have made sourdough at home the last couple years. has produced a loaf like every 2 days or so

that type of bread hits different. digests easier i feel

short of that i also grab the Trader Joe's heat-up baguettes, or whole food baguettes or ciabatta

don't mess with anything else

i used to get real run down if i hadn't had meat - more specifically red meat - for several days.

probably still the case, but i always feel run down so it doesn't matter.

We checked out a pizza place that specializes in regional American pies - NYC, deep dish, tavern style, New Haven, Detroit, etc.

We were after tavern style - the true Chicago style - which was pretty good except the crust was too thick/heavy, not cracker crispy. Good enough for us to go back and try other styles; a nice find.

Capers slap with salmon. That sounds extremely legit.

Made the same thing again today but tried adding some dill to see how that tasted. Nice addition.
