Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

He's very critical of both of those records above but in a way that's deeply informed by the band's history.
This guy keeps using the word "ethnocentric" incorrectly and it bugs me. OUT!

Huh, I didn't notice.

In digging around, he seems like a wildly divisive figure to the point where Pitchfork deleted all of his archived pieces at one stage.

He's nuked his social media on several occasions but a bunch of his video chats/essays are archived on a YouTube channel by someone who may actually hate him, it's not entirely clear: https://www.youtube.com/@shaIIowrewards

I don't agree with all of his views on the Cure - he doesn't rate The Top, so we're clearly not hearing the band the same way - but I do think he neatly identifies some of the band's key weaknesses in the latter part of their career and I enjoy his very evident passion and knowledge.

RIP Perry :peace:

I was glad to see him back in the band in recent years, but this also doesn't come as a huge shock as he didn't look terribly well.

I was still so happy to see him up on stage with them during that final tour, even if I couldn't really hear what he was playing.

Robert is on the new Olivia Rodrigo album. They performed it together at Primavera Sound
I'm not crazy about the song but it's nice to see him get some recognition from gen Z
