Derek’s “suck my fat one” allusion to Stand By Me was the highlight of these 4 episodes.

Dang, this show is ruined!
Thanks a lot, Bart.

But for real, that's a great pull. I completely missed that.

I was saying how Derek has a better chance of killing a demogorgon with his bare hands than beating that game

My girlfriend is doing a rewatch of the series so i joined yesterday and we finished S2 and started S3 and this is such a fun series really. I forgot how violent it was in those early seasons too.

The cast is just great.

At this rate, Kate Bush herself is gonna be the one that stops Vecna.

Welp they finally used up the last fumes of goodwill I could muster. These last three eps were like 60% expository dialog and/or cringe-worthily on-the-nose monologues. The coming out scene was straight out of a WB show circa 2005.

Also, the next to last episode is a weird place to finally decide to bail on a show.

I didn't really have a problem with the last three episodes. I even liked parts of them

I never watched WB. Will’s coming out had me in tears in front of my kids. I’ve been teaching for almost 3 decades. That loneliness and fear is prevalent even now in 2025, and being a teenager without having a secret like that is often impossibly hard.

I really enjoyed these 3 episodes. The quiet moments, not the demigorgons, are why I love this show. These 3 eps reminded me of Wandavision’s first 7 episodes. I loved them a lot more than the big cgi fight finale. I hope the Duffers don’t kill any of these kids.

I haven't watched Stranger Things since season 1 but the coming out scene getting so ruthlessly mocked all over the internet this past couple days is kinda funny

I’m not gay, but I’m also not exactly straight and I thought it hit the right emotions, but the whole scene felt like it needed a better actor to shoulder the weight of it.

Yeah, he kind of ended up being the kid with the fewest acting chops (now that they're past the age of getting away with that because they're cute). Why the writers decided, knowing that, to focus so much on him this season is an odd choice. He's been the main character of the season so far. Mike has mostly just been around
