I've looked at the packaging. What about it is so special and hand made? It looks like a pretty standard gatefold LP package to me.

"Hand-made" by this big fucking machine.

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Is all of this the reason that LB vinyl isn't available on 10c's site anymore? I bought mine in-store, but haven't opened it. I wonder if all in-stores are tainted? Debating whether to get a second

I'm pretty sure it is why. I think they posted something on the PJ site stating the records aren't available until they fix the manufacturing problems. I'd say they're all made at the same place, so yours could be dodgy.

Im sorry it has taken so long, its terrible to say, but you should email the company and tell them you have a defect and see if it shows up before your original copy does

Believe me - I'm pretty much at that point at the moment. Might give it one more day as I'd still feel like a bit of a prick doing that

I forgot I ordered the vinyl and just got it now. looks pretty scuffed up.

The packaging's cool, though.

My replacement arrived just a few days after they told me via email that they'd be sending a new one.

they may ask for pictures, fyi. i had to submit photos. but if you just note issues about the sound (pops, skips, low volume) and NOT the visual condition of the record or sleeves, you might be ok.
ah, copperplate, a font for the truly modern man.

The replacement vinyls sound great. Does anyone know if the ones they did for replacement are any different from new ones that are coming out? Like any different etchings? Even though they fixed it with new copies I still feel ripped off. The damaged arrived over two weeks late for most people. I ordered two both very damaged. They sent me only one replacement at first then I had to go through the process again to get a second replacement. Just a huge pain in the ass. I feel like they should at the very least credited the shipping charges back to everyone. I have to make the call at my job to eat costs like this sometimes even when the mistake is out of our companies control. It is just the cost of doing business. I guess customer service really is not a priority over at the Ten Club.

I paid for a record. I now have two, one of which has a minor tear in the sleeve, and I'll give that one to a friend.

I made out pretty good. No complaints here.

They're shipping everyone who sneezes a free second record no questions asked. I figure they think that's a big enough financial hit without refunding the original shipping costs for everyone.
