got the OK to resume the gym so today was back to the gym day for me after not going since oct 25th.

add in that i have been off since Xmas eve and hadnt set a alarm to wake up in the morning and its been rough.

didnt do a lot of weight exercise wise but figured i would be sore tomorrow when i wake up.

i was wrong, starting to get sore again

i've been focused on my core and bike riding but have not yet dared for pushups, chinups, or weights. gonna prob wait another 2 months for that. just so afraid of re-injury

in the meantime will just try to get lean

I have been trying marihuana gummies for the last year or so. I am finding that how "high" I feel is highly affected by how much I lean into it. I can take a gummy one day and sit down and stare at the leaves in the trees or at the clouds and have literal visual hallucinations, like cartoons appear in the clouds. Or I can take the same gummy and more or less go about my evening. Or I can lean into it for a while and then decide to snap out and feel more or less normal.

The effects of alcohol are way more unavoidable. If I've been drinking, I can't just turn off the drunkenness.

Is this normal? Am I a freak?

So, scratch all this. Turns out I was just doing it wrong. You're supposed to eat the gummies. I've been shoving them up my ass!

Im slowing getting a bit better. I still cant see pics of my buddy but im feeling better. This past weekend was my moms bday (70!), my sister came and we spent the weekend together and it was really good for me.

Rough day today. Due to a meeting, I was up at 4:15. Had a pretty shitty work morning. Picked up in the afternoon a bit but on the drive home, Mrs Wease called me and I could hear the youngest weaseling in the background in hysterics. They weren’t together so I don’t know if it was conference or what. Weaseling has a bad flat tire. Ok, I’ll check it when I get back into town. So, she and her car are at her work and I plan on going straight there. Well, she got fired for being on her cell phone during a shift the other day. One of her other workers told on her. No, she shouldn’t have been on it, but all she did was answer a text from her mother. She had it out for literally 5-10 seconds. But, against the rules, so… Her supervisor told her how great a worker she is, how she always comes in early, stays late if they ask, picks up shifts when they need her to, always cleans… Just an all around great worker. But, she had to let her go.

I get to her car and there’s a 2”x2” chunk torn out of her tire. Im like WTF?!? She told her mother she ran over a rock. So she then sends us a pic of the rock. It’s a fucking boulder. It’s 3’ long x 2’ tall x 2’ deep. It’s like the fucking Excalibur stone. And she ran over it. I get it changed with the bicycle spare and that’s flat too. I mean, it has air in it but I couldn’t tell it wasn’t enough until the weight of the car was on it. Flat. So we have some friends bring their air compressor and we fill it up and I drive it to the tire shop so they can put a new one on it tomorrow. Hopefully the wheel isn’t warped from her driving over the rock of Gibraltar.
