I love that record but I honestly like those songs better live. I can’t wait until he releases his Live From Europe comp.

Arrived this week. Everything on this album hits so hard. I just wish it was a 45, so I could play Everybody Knows slow like he did in the movie.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I've barely managed to resist buying cassette tapes from my youth.
Otherwise I'd be plagued by all the "Barrio Music" volumes.
That and a lot of unofficial hip hop mix comps, I'm sure they'd sound like shit now, but they were my jam back then.

There's two recent "RSD Essentials" I think I'm going to have to spring for.

The Powderfinger album is certainly a product of it's time.

Powderfinger were definitely still working out what they wanted to be at that point.

It's a great album, and the vinyl sounds great. There's so much from that period in this album - some of Bernard's wailing sounds very Cornell - a lot of the music has that bass heavy sludgy feel of Tool's Undertow

I met someone who lived next door to Fanning in his early twenties, apparently he and his flatmates listened to a lot of Badmotorfinger. :D

I think it is probably PJs best live release.

I got an amazon gift card for my birthday, and I was buying some albums. I wanted to get Frightened Rabbit's Midnight Organ fight, so I ordered that for $35.
I realized that it was actually the tribute album with other artists playing the songs, which I don't want, so I tried to cancel. It's a third party seller, so I had to wait a day for the cancellation. That's fine, the real album was $35, so once the cancellation is successful, I'll buy the right album.

Yesterday the cancellation went through, I look at the album I had added to my wishlist and now it's $45. Well, shit. I was already over the gift card, so I figure I'll just wait until it drops again.

Today, it's $261.
