I picked that but then I turned on Parting Ways and I immediately regretted it.

Both fucking great though.

Fuck, I miss that production.

That was fun (b/c I'm a huge loser). I can't really argue with my top 20 all that much:
Spoiler: show
Last Exit (Vitalogy, 1994)
Corduroy (Vitalogy, 1994)
Release (Ten, 1991)
I Got Id (Merkin Ball, 1996)
Animal (Vs., 1993)
Satans Bed (Vitalogy, 1994)
In My Tree (No Code, 1996)
Hail Hail (No Code, 1996)
Breath (Singles (Soundtrack), 1992)
Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town (Vs., 1993)
In Hiding (Yield, 1998)
Oceans (Ten, 1991)
Long Road (Merkin Ball, 1996)
Present Tense (No Code, 1996)
Smile (No Code, 1996)
Cant Keep (Riot Act, 2003)
Low Light (Yield, 1998)
Blood (Vs., 1993)
Brain Of J. (Yield, 1998)
Tremor Christ (Vitalogy, 1994)
We really need to start incorporating Merkin Ball more as the Golden Gate fucking bridge between Vitalogy and No Code. 94-96 is a great great era.

Yeah, after my third aborted attempt I realised it was really fucking stupid and felt ashamed for having ever begun.

Take your Silkwood shower and get some balls for attempt 4.

I need to do this again. I was inconsistent. Sometimes I was voting based on what I am currently really enjoying, and other times the songs I thought are better.

It's too hard.

It seems I only have three opinions on Pearl Jam songs: "I really love this one", "I think this one's pretty good" and "this one sucks".

I mean, something either pumps yer nads or it doesn't, yanno?

"Oh, this one is 4.5 stars, this one is 3.5 but would be a 4 if it weren't for the verse melody. This one is clear a 1.8 star song. Now, let me tally these scores up and figure out which album comes out on top!"

Kill me.

For whatever reason (I'm drunk) I found it pretty easy to figure out the winner of each matchup (I'm drunk).

Tremor Christ

I remember one of mine being between Sleight of Hand and Nothing as It seems.

Also, I dont know if my voting for Alive had more to do with how much I like the song or the nostalgic factor...

Yeah I struggled with the nostalgia factor on Alive, Even Flow and Black.

My biggest surprise was realizing how much I fucking love Long Road.

I think my biggest surprise looking at where songs were placed was on a song by song basis - how much I appear to actually dislike Backspacer and Lightning Bolt

It says something that I cant put most songs above the first 6 records or so, yet I am ably to fully enjoy the Lightning Bolt as much as I have....

Yeah, there's the best of the best and then there's eminently enjoyable. I'll take it all.
