Perhaps he’ll play more PJ standards since the band hasn’t been there for ages.

This was my initial thought as well, but the Jamily has a bit of money now and has always wanted to visit Japan.Strat wrote:This could be great and i hope he records and releases these shows. If the audiences are still the same, they will be quiet and respectful and not every song will turn into a call and response sing along! Could be real intimate and beautiful.

Yeah, I watched the doc a week or so again and it was a heartbreaking watch but necessary - wonderful that they have that community and hope that the money they’ve been raising results in stronger treatment and ultimately a cure.

Looks like he played a new song called “Better Believe.” A collaboration with something called Guitars Over Guns.

Didn't watch it but got the email with a broken link from PJ.comMatters wrote: Thu June 18, 2026 5:28 pm Looks like he played a new song called “Better Believe.” A collaboration with something called Guitars Over Guns.
Anyone watch it?
It's on Apple Music too. I don't want to be mean because it's made in collaboration with a bunch of kids from a non-profit organization but it's...uh...not very good.

I also don't want to be mean for the same reasons, but I caught the live performance while I was eating lunch, and it was...uh...pretty rough.darthvedder81 wrote: Thu June 18, 2026 5:31 pmDidn't watch it but got the email with a broken link from PJ.comMatters wrote: Thu June 18, 2026 5:28 pm Looks like he played a new song called “Better Believe.” A collaboration with something called Guitars Over Guns.

I didn’t catch the performance, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be listening to this song a second time.
