I saw an old clip of Thom watching a Chilis performance and he was getting really into it. I keep forgetting he's tight with Flea (and possibly the other guys?)

Yeah , he is a fan. I remember some interview with him talking about how much be loved Californication.

Flea sent this song to him because it made him remember to Atoms For Peace.

The band is saying the doc is about Hillel Slovak and not about them as a music group. Seems thats how Netflix approach them.

John´s To Record Only Water For Ten Days is getting a vinyl release on RSD. Vey exited about that one, its my fav from his solo career.

Josh K is an unbelievably good drummer. I kinda had no idea. He never really cut loose when he played with Warpaint. But he's bussin' some serious chops on this one.

Flea´s album is coming soon, so he did a pretty cool interview with the nytimes and then this video talking about some recs from the Nonesuch label

Every one of them is a treasure and i cant recommend the Jeff Parker album enough

The Netflix docu is out. I thought ot was really well made and beautifull. It focuses mostly on Hillel Slovak. It has interviews with Flea, Anthony, John, Jack Irons, Alain Johannes

yeah i loved it. It made me remember being a small kid and listening to Behind The Sun, and watching the video. Truly awesome. I loved all the backstory with What Is This?, even i read it on the Anthony book, it was really cool to see Alain and Jack talking about it too.

Now im really eager for the Michael Beinhorn book about the recording of Mother´s Milk.
He posted yesterday that he will announce the release date soon.
