Pearl onions are clutch in a pot roast. Carrots as well.

I think there's something off with my crock pot. Ever since I've had it. It has a bizarre smell to it when it starts cooking. Think I may replace it, but honestly, I don't do much crock pot stuff anyway. Think I'd rather just get a Dutch oven

Got some spare ribs going tonight. Usually I do these on the smoker outside. We'll see.

Can anyone recommend a good crockpot?

Brands? I don't know enough about them to vouch for anything specific.bodysnatcher wrote:Can anyone recommend a good crockpot?
I'll tell you that I've owned a few in my life, and there are two features you need to look for.
-Make sure the lid latches for that extra seal.
-Go ovular, not round. Opt for cooking surface area, not counter space. Just more versatile that way.
The one I have just has a low medium and high setting. I'm sure you can get one with more functions, but why do you really need more than various heats, you know?
