yes. very much like their P.S. Eliot days, and maybe even early Waxahatchee.
I somehow missed this album (and this conversation). A podcast I listen to had it on their end of year list. I still haven't heard it but I'm really excited to check it out.

I'm sticking to this for integrity's sake but an honorable mention is Grayhaven - Keep it Quiet; just creative, technical, fun post-hardcore

I'm not gonna lie... I'm a little disappointed in you, RM.

Y'all totally undersold this absolute gem of a record! There's a good chance this ends up my favorite album of the year. We need to work on our communication skills here, team.

I'll forgive you because it's Christmas time, but let's not make a habit of this.

My ten best of 2025:

Geese – Getting Killed
Dove Ellis – Blizzard
Bon Iver – sABLE, fABLE
Prostitute – Attempted Martyr
Freckle – Freckle
Mclusky – the world is still here and so are we
Jesse Welles - Devil's Den
Viagra Boys – Viagr Aboys
Deftones – private music
Jeff Tweedy – Twilight Override

Not in order, although the Geese record is certainly my #1. Haven't had a reaction/connection to a record like this in a long time.
