The Rip started strong, was well-directed, and had lots of good stuff in it. But once I realized it was mostly going to be a one-location thing, I was a little deflated (so many movies are doing this to stretch budgets and I'm sick of it). I also thought everyone except Scott Adkins was miscast (side note: would love to see him ease into the part of a dramatic character actor like this, he seems right at home), and - by the end - the movie felt like such fluffy copaganda that it made me feel a little ill, especially with everything that's going on in this shithole country right now.

At least I'll always have Narc. Now that's a fuckin' movie, baby.

Yeah, the first half was great. Then it kinda felt like Matt and Ben were congratulating themselves on the "twist" literally everyone saw coming.

Stockholm.

I normally like Ethan Hawke, but he was pretty bad in this. Yells through everything. Garbage.

Red Rocket was very good. That paired with Anora is quite the one-two punch from Sean Baker. Holy wow. Don't remember much of Florida Project. Maybe should give that one another try.

Yeah I'm skipping that. I like Volume 1 but I don't think I can take five hours

Mine too. I finally decided to just watch it this morning. Had no idea Jerry Stiller was in it.
