I just did my taxes on Turbo Tax.

At the end it asked if I wanted to sign up for a Trump Account. Not planning to have more kids in the future, so, no … but what exactly is a Trump Account?

You put your money in a Trump account. He promises the govt will add $1000. He pockets your money. The govt adds nothing.

Plus to get it you have to fill out Form 4547.

It’s supposed to incentivize starting accounts for newborns so they’ll have some coin by the time they reach adulthood. Not a bad idea, really, but when it’s introduced and ran by the biggest con-man on the planet, you know it’s not gonna work like it’s supposed to and there’s no way participants will get treated fairly.
