The Mayor of Kingstown (paramount+)
This got pretty bad reviews, but I watched the first two episodes and it was pretty good. Definitely good enough to continue and it's something I think a lot of people here would be into (looking at you Ruddock)

Re: The Mayor of Kingstown (paramount+)
I was a fan of the first season, but now I'm stuck in a rut on the second season. It's a good show, but once I discovered Sheridan's other show, Yellowstone, this one got left in the dust. I should probably pick it back up. I love watching McClusky try to put out so many fires in this series. I connect the way he brokers peace across the prison underbelly to my experiences in restaurant management, in a way.
Both Yellowstone and Mayor of Kingston share Hugh Dillon and James Jordan in recurring roles.

Finished Season 1. I like it...well maybe not like it....its a good show but its relentlessly bleak. Not always enjoyable but good if that makes sense.

Just finished season 4. Two observations:
It’s never ever sunny in that town.
I want a show of just Mike and bunny shooting the shit

I made a similar statement to Mrs Wease. No one ever smiles and no one ever has a reason to.

Season 3 got way too whacky and I never cared to resub to watch the latest. Thought seasons 1 and 2 were great

Nobody ever wins. The good guys (such as they are) never get a victory. And the bad guys keep taking and taking from them.

Season 4 was definitely better than 3 with Mike’s brother in jail story and Lenny James joining the cast

i may be wrong but it seems Mayor, Landman, King of Tulsa and yellowstone are pretty much the same shows in different settings
