Yeah she has a type of blood cancer. She's getting treatment for it now and we're all trying to stay positive. I'm really struggling with it though

For me, I was feeling fairly positive just 3 weeks ago, in spite of everything I think I am generally an optimistic guy. But then my mom got sick and it's crazy how suddenly everything became terrible and depressing and hopeless. It amplified the bad in everything else for me

Sounds harrowing and my siblings are feeling a similar way right now. I'm lucky that she lives 3 blocks from my home (she's actually staying with me now while she undergoes her treatment and for the foreseeable future)

Good man. I wish there was a way she could undergo treatment here, I’d have her move in with us, but American insurance generally doesn’t cover treatment abroad.

alright woke up worse! i can barely walk. I had to literally crawl to go to the bathroom and then go to the kitchen to drink water. Very fucked.

no, i think its mostly because of how i sit while i work with my laptop and how many hours im like that. Im going to the doctor this afternoon and well see what he says but right now i can barely walk without pain.

I’ve been doing Pilates for going on two years now, and having had two back surgeries myself, I can attest that strengthening your core does wonders for your back, posture, and quality of life.

I still struggle with hunching over while I’m working, but I try to correct when I notice.

thanks for the word guys, and totally i need to work out more.

Its a muscular thing, doc gave some drugs which i hope they can help with the pain and order some x ray stuff.

Im hoping to get back on track soon!
