A friend has been given a grant by the state Arts Council to make one of his short stories into a play, and he asked me to be part of a Focus group. Not sure what to expect

I'm new to the author but my understanding is yes, or at least horror-adjacent.

I’ve only read Vampires in the Lemon Grove. It was years ago, but I remember liking it.

Is Swamplandia! worth checking out?

Swamplandia was great. I was just thinking about Karen Russel the other day, didn't realize she had a recent release. I will add it to my list!

Almost finished with The Rest of Our Lives.

I’ve checked out The World According to Garp as my next in line, but I wanted to see if you guys had any recommendations for something.

I like lit fic, usually messy characters.

Thanks in advance.

thanks, Lenny.

have you read The Bee Sting? If so, do you like Skippy Dies better? I’ve read the former and liked it.
