Sirat.

Well done, very tense and gorgeous to look at and to listen to. Loved the sound design and score. I think it needed another resolution.

Rear Window. Still pretty much a masterpiece. James Stewart’s character is such a dick.

This Grace Kelly lady is someone to keep an eye on. She’s quite good looking.

Dreams.

Jessica Chastain is wonderful but the movie kinda fells really flat in the last half and hour. Its a shame because it was interesting before that.

I liked it a lot until
Spoiler: show
the fiancée showed up. It felt like they rushed to end the movie at that point and I felt it was a pretty flimsy jump to see her hand in the sand and think “Linda buried her”

Spoiler: show
I never got the impression he thought she buried her.

But regardless, that image was worth the price of admission. I wish the movie had more of that. My only real issue with the movie is that it didn't go far enough.

He immediately ran back to camp to accuse her of just that

He accused her of killing her. I didn't get the sense from the movie that we were supposed to think that Linda buried her, is all I was saying.

Send Help was fun. Nothing radical, but some good splat-stick which is what Raimi does better than anyone.
