Like Joe, I've never smoked anything. I have fallen into a gummy habit over the last while, though. I eat a 10mg gummy probably five times a week. Tonight, I ate a 10mg gummy like right when I got home from work at 5, then another at about 8.

So, yeah, that's where I'm at with it right now. It's probably a net positive, at least for these cold winter months

I haven’t touched it for a couple years. I was one of the early casualties of potent legal weed; it makes me too high and paranoid now.

That being said, if I still lived in Illinois where it’s legal, I have a feeling I would’ve largely replaced alcohol with more manageable doses of pot by now.

Most of my friends in my twenties were potheads. I smoked it occasionally, but mostly it just made me tired and jittery, and I usually wanted to go out and get hammered, but stoners don't like to go out. I kept some around for girls or whatever, but I never got what the big deal was.

Haha you got me. I hate the term “straight edge” and think it implies some kind of deeply held belief system/lifestyle or moral ethos, which has nothing to do with why I abstain. Just too much baggage when all I mean to express is that I don’t drink or do drugs.

It would be cool if we lived in a world where you could say you were sober, but unfortunately we live in a world where people only use the word to mean "I don't drink."

No, but really though. It doesn't feel like a lot. I'd say right now I feel generally more carefree than usual with a slight sensation of physical heaviness (pleasant) all over but especially in my head. And I was snacking a lot before and really enjoying that.

It's not an exact equivalent but it feels like more than one beer but definitely less than three.
