almost watched a couple times but then realized right now feel no urge to root for the US

These Olympics have been fun to watch. All countries should be allowed to compete. Attempting to pick and choose which countries deserve to have their athletes punished and thinking it makes any difference in the world beyond an athletic competition that has lost much of its relevance in recent decades is idiotic.
