It is free in many states should you ask, in CT a free option is mandatory.spike wrote:Used to be like a quarter or two, but I too paid $3 for air yesterday to fill my mom’s tires.

$3 def the highest i've heard
some highway rest stops now have it for free
gas stations near me still $1 in quarters
i did buy my own pump but always realize i need the air when i am crunched for time and just leaving the house
instead of parking and going in and setting the thing up i just go to the gas station
and do my best F1 pit speed impression

That’s what happens when you abandon your battlestation.

Actually though. I've been babysitting my baby nieces a bunch and I just go to places I normally wouldn't. The packed-ass indoor pool, for example. I'm a beach guy, but toddler swim lessons sometimes require an assist. I love it, but if I had locked into the battlestation, this would never have happened.

If it only has two screens, is it still a battleststion? Or is that only 3+ screens w/ swiveling elbow support?spike wrote:Stay inside in front of your screens and pound those vitamin D tablets. That’s peak manhood.

it's less about screen count and more about how out of touch you are with the actual human experienceEllo Sailor wrote:If it only has two screens, is it still a battleststion? Re: Talk about your day thread
I'm sitting in my car in a parking lot because I just got canceled on and I'm feeling a little bummed. I was thinking about the cosmos last night and that always gets me a little depressed, too. But, yeah, I'm sitting in my car and it's cold and I'm sad and I'm not really sure what I'm doing and in front of me all of a sudden is this poor woman with three maniac children. Two of them are screaming, one is just punching the side of her Subaru gleefully. She's yelling at them to get in the car and how their problem is that none of them listen. I sure am damn glad I don't have kids. Can you imagine?

UPDATE: There was a cute little baby eating from a bag of chips at Trader Joe's with her two moms and I actually think having one kid is a reasonable choice. Speaking as a second child, having more than one kid is just a wild choice
