This review helped me decide to watch this last night and it turns out to be spot-on. Quite a movie

the only opinion i have on it is that I think they were close to losing the rights to Jurassic Park and had to put this one out ASAP to keep the rights

my god what a horrible movie
Gareth Edwards is my boy but this movie indeed sucks and marks two duds in a row from him. Very disappointing.

I watched After The Hunt and thought it was exceptional. Nothing to do with The Hunt.

I watched about 15 minutes of this before shutting it off. I don't understand the obsession with hybrid dinosaurs. Regular dinosaurs aren't enough? It's gotta be some stupid looking new thing?

I rewatched a great Burt Lancaster western last night - Lawman. I really enjoyed the morally gray story and it had a great supporting cast - Lee J Cobb, Robert Ryan, Robert Duvall, and Richard Jordan.

Good stuff and a pretty shocking ending.

I'm not sure that I personally found it hopeful, but I definitely found it meaningful. And it's certainly heartbreaking. Joel Edgerton is an all-timer.

Do you guys feel its better than Hamlet? Im comparing them because they are dramas and period pieces and both are nominated at the Oscars.

Hopeful in the sense that there is life after personal tragedy, even if you’re forever marked by it

Oh definitely., I can see that. I think that's reflected more in other characters and is a lesson learned too late, perhaps, for Robert. Which is part of the heartbreak. Not I can see what you mean, totally.
