This went fine. To keep things moving, they went with a quick facial recognition walk up and you’re through. Assuming it isn’t always set up this way because it’s not very secure, so we’ll see who slips through. Trump very serious about keeping our borders secure.spike wrote:Global Entry being shut down could make my 1h45m connection in LA pretty dang tight. I’ve downloaded the MPC app which can help expedite immigration, so I’ll look for that line.

Didn't they open it back up once dumbass Noem realized the revenue was from travelers paying for it, not from Government funds?

They opened up TSA Precheck, the one staffed with people. Global Entry, which is fully automated kiosks, remains closed. Each facial recognition station was manned today as well, so very effective strategy to address staffing issues by using more staff than normal. Libs owned.

Re: Travel thread
Travel is a distant concept for me right now. I had to cancel several trips lined up for the next three months, both for work and for pleasure, while I'm taking care of my mom and her situation stabilizes more.

I'd suggest calling in reservations at Minetta Tavern now, grab a few drinks at The Ear early before taking in an off-Broadway show in between.VinylGuy wrote:give me a list of places to eat!! im making mine, but i would love more suggestions. Been to Midtown Comics many times. Went last night as a matter of fact. Could’ve done some real damage but I didn’t want to pay full cover price for anything.VinylGuy wrote:give me a list of places to eat!! im making mine, but i would love more suggestions.
