Things improve every single time you take a break from the board. I'm not trolling. Maybe if we play some Dixie Chicks in an open field you will mosey over and begin weeping. Anything for some reprieve.

Pretty sure i'd do this. Wouldn't have to work again and no family to worry about leaving behind.Jorge wrote:$25,000 per day for life. But…
Once every day, at a completely random time, you are instantly warped to a random location in the ocean for 30 seconds.
Rules:
- You always appear floating at the surface, already in the water.
- The location is completely random anywhere in the world’s oceans.
- Conditions may vary: calm seas, storms, open ocean, near land, etc.
After 30 seconds, you are warped back to where you were, dry and unharmed. (the teleportation accounts for moving vehicles, so if you were in an airplane you won't get teleported into the air but back in your seat)
However if you happen to die during those 30 seconds, you die permanently.
Do you take it?!
When warped though, would you land in the same clothing, things in your pockets and such?

Re: Ask RM a Question
Surely it takes longer than 30 seconds to die from drowning, so the risks are being eaten, being hit by a ship or being thrown by a wave into a rock. Those seem unlikely.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Pretty sure i'd do this. Wouldn't have to work again and no family to worry about leaving behind.Jorge wrote:$25,000 per day for life. But…

I can never drive a car again because my passengers and anyone near my car would likely die when I’m warped out.
Hmm, I’ll take the deal!

Yes same clothes, but when you warp back it'll be like nothing happened. So if you drop something from your pocket when you're in the ocean, it'll be back in there when you return to normal.lennytheweedwhacker wrote: When warped though, would you land in the same clothing, things in your pockets and such?

when you say like nothing happened can this be interpreted as you have no memory of what just happened? you just know 25K got deposited in your account.Jorge wrote:Yes same clothes, but when you warp back it'll be like nothing happened. Re: Ask RM a Question
Nah, that would make it too easy. You feel everything and remember everything. You're just physically intact at the end of it (unless you manage to die in those 30 secs)

You could still drive. Just depending on when the event happens each day. If it happened at 7 am. you’d be fine to drive there rest if that day knowing it already happenedMatters wrote:Surely it takes longer than 30 seconds to die from drowning, so the risks are being eaten, being hit by a ship or being thrown by a wave into a rock. It isn't just driving, though. I can't hold my baby, or steady a ladder for a beloved co-worker on the construction site. I can't belay when I go rock climbing with my bros. Bad guys will follow me around and then rob my wife when I blink away for 30 seconds and I can't defend her

But where your tantrum gets it right of that I haven't been at my best here for a long time. That's true. And it's because I've let the worst of this place bait me and drag me down. I used to be good at just ignoring that group of ballbags. The world changed and I felt I needed to respond. That was the mistake. I can't control all you miserable people but I can control how I react. That's s good reminder, so thank you for that. Truly.

Hell yeah I'd warp.
I already do this mentally when I micro-meditate.
