I have the same routine as Argo, right down to the mg, and now I'm worried for us both. It does seem like a lot.

It sounds like a good time. Wish we could get gummies here.

For the guys who do both edibles and smoke; how different are the experiences?

I remember getting wrecked as a kid on edibles. Don't get me wrong I loved it but I was hallucinating. It was not the same high as smoking. Haven't had edibles in a decade...

Edibles give me more of a relaxing body stone. It's obviously easy to overdo it though. Sounds like a few of you took too much!

Smoking is lighter and more of an ephemeral experience. Edibles really take hold of your whole body for a couple hours.

high school was blunts and bong hits on weekends

college was doobies and bong hits like 5-10 times every day

the couple years after college was little bowl hits at end of work day

then basically stopped

by the time legalization happened and gummies were accessible i was done, so never go into gummies

have smoked prob once in the last ten years ... random offer of a jay at a wedding and i was crunked

prior to that maybe 3 times in last 15 years ... only when i'd go to canada

i did take some small gummies at a party a couple years ago ... was super wasted and pounded like 10 of them .. and puked a lot later : P

i enjoyed cooking with weed in college. cooking weed in oil and removing the crisp plant and using the green oil to make pancakes or cookies

when you eat those and feel the herb kicking in in your toes and all over it's quite a different feeling than taking puffs from something

ultimately had to stop bc i had a dependency and it was holding me back

was way too groggy in the mornings

and was affecting my memory and ability to learn new things

took a solid 6 months for my mind to clear after i stopped ... and from that point after had to re-learn how to do certain things like math problems

ultimately would not go back and change a thing

is what it is

all part of the journey

had a similar situation a few years ago while visiting my wife’s family during a socially distanced hang in my brother in law’s backyard.

I’d started drinking beers, and ate some bbq we ordered. After 4-5 beers my BiL offered me a piece of chocolate…he was pretty generous with it. It did not take long before I was *vibing* (my BiLs idea of me sleeping) along the fence line of his backyard.

My wife was not happy, thinking she couldn’t just leave me there - she honestly could’ve. As soon as she decided it was time to leave, and jostled me, it awoke in me all the beer and bbq dying to come back out of my mouth.

I spent the next hour, or so it felt, spitting and dry heaving into a bowl as I lay on my other BiLs couch.

i remember at bonnaroo after like 1.5 days of straight debauchery finding a place along the fence in the back of one of the music areas and falling asleep

was a pretty great nap

forget what band was playing ... but they were loud ... and it didn't matter

At the risk of bumping a thread with an already perfect closing note (that was beautiful, dev, and I'm sorry), I wanted to give an update that my intake has been way down. 10, sometimes 5, mg edibles maybe twice a week. I think I was just having a rough period there when this thread was first started and I was at my peak
