For the last couple of years there have been many great post-punk bands from UK and Ireland. Fontaines DC and IDLES being the biggest ones. But also Wet Leg, BCNR, Shame, Gilla Band, Yard Act, Murder Capital, Viagra Boys (from Sweden), IceAge, Dry Cleaning and many more.
Perhaps my current favorite is SPRINTS. A band from Dublin touring their second album 'All that is over'. I just went to their Amsterdam show and they rocked!
They just hit a sweet spot between current post-punk and 90s alternative (quiet-loud). This band is becoming my fav current band!
