I watched the whole series together when I had covid last year and agree with elo. I wonder if I'd feel differently if I'd waited years in real time for Romulus though.

Our main issue is Sinners though…but i know you say you like it because you wanna look cool. I know.

For music I think zeb and I are often caught in the same threads, but I see you, lenny.

For books, I feel like there are more former posters than current ones who matched my taste. Come back, invention.

When it comes to movies and especially TV, I feel like Joey and I have very similar tastes but the intensity of our taste differs on most things. So we’ll both like something but I’ll say “Wow this was pretty good” and Joey will say “A truly transcendent piece of art. Bravo. I want to imprint this on the back of my eyelids and sew them shut forever.”

And Burt and I share a similar aesthetic appreciation, if I’m remembering his posts from the old hot girls thread correctly.

With music factored in, s_t probably takes number one overall.

I can't think of one single RMer. For music KD and I share a lot of artists especially on the jazzier side, but I am also into a lot of stuff he would probably consider grating and annoying. For movies, LV, VG, and Argo all share some overlapping taste with me, but also just as many points of divergence. I don't know! I guess I am too special and unique

It's which RMer closely matches, not which matches closely. Your closest RMer might be like a 17% match, but it's still closest.

I get few replies in the synthwave thread, but I know it has many secret admirers.

No one reads the books I read, though.

In terms of music, Washing Machine, Ello, Zeb are probably the closest ones.... i also enjoy a lot the discussions on the PJ board with Rock Pusher, Stip and others.

Movie wise im not sure...but i do enjoy a lot of everyone who post in the Horror Thread.
