reading/writing is red
science is green
history is yellow

1 is white
2 is red
3 is green
4 is blue
5 is orange
6 is brown
7 is yellow
8 is purple
9 is black

all dogs are male
all cats are female

I'm a grapheme–color synesthete!

Pretty sure I saw colored numbers in kindergarten and the association stuck forever.

I have these associations too. It helped my reading and sometimes messed with my math in school.

Letters/colors/numbers all have "personalities". Red is kind of a smart aleck. The number 5 is a bore. 2 is blue and stealthy.

The word "tree" works especially well because of how green T is.

Can't relate to the colors as numbers at all. Not sure i've even heard of it.

All cats as females for sure though.

I used to have some color association stuff happening in my mind, but less so now as my brain slowly turns to mush.

Ninja Turtles head and arm bands nailed their respective color personalities.

Or maybe the influenced how I see them? 1987-1988 Would have been about the time I started learning to read and count.
