In Hiding has its issues for me (more on that next round). I have never liked Leatherman, and still don't. I am annoyed when they play their 'man' trilogy. I guess the only band I want sounding like REM is REM.

This is tough. I love both of these but I'll go Leatherman for now.

This is tough. Both are great. Leatherman is weird in a fun way and I think it gets a bad rap being relegated to b-side status. In hiding has the swelling chorus we love. I’m going to give some love this round to Leatherman!

Ive never been a fan of IH, its a good song but its not one i need to rush to listen to it.

I listened to both of these again. And while I'll always be a big fan and defender of In Hiding (probably a bigger fan of the song than 90% of RM), Leatherman just scratches the right itch. And now I really want it to win. This might be the first match where I'm actually bummed if the song I voted for doesn't advance.
