God bless you, B.

Like Mecca, I teared up multiple times throughout and had a ton of fun. It followed the book, a book I absolutely devoured, almost exactly. I think criticism of its length are fair but I didn't care. Give me an extended director's cut with more of the science stuff added in. I loved it all.

The only negatives were Gosling was playing Gosling during the karaoke scene and he somehow gave himself a $1000 Hollywood haircut in space.

I'm already scouring Etsy looking for life-size Rocky replicas. I'd also like to get his arm xylophone tattooed on my forearm.

I'd say, more or less, yes. It's not a complete carbon copy.

One detail that I would’ve liked explained was why the other crew died during the coma trip.

Hey, why was there an old, analog style classroom clock on that ship?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
