I remember just being floored by Do the Evolution when it came out. I can still feel like that sometimes when I hear the song - just way past my expectations at the time.

I’ve cooled on Do the Evolution over the years. I can’t say why, but it’s just faded into the background of Yield. What can you do?

DTE is probably the coolest song in the PJ catalog.
Not my favorite, the coolest.

I get that it might lose its appeal for the seasoned PJ veteran, but to the casual listener that riff, that solo, and the hallelujah's are completely different from "the PJ they know".

it's one of the songs whose first listen I most remember. I couldn't understand what the hell this was.
