TV shows you’re watching now after their run finished

Post by daft twat »

I feel like this is a different category than what are you watching on tv. I visit that thread to see new shows I should be investigating. Anyone else digging into the past? Last year I finally got around to Mad Men. Worth it. This past week I’ve begun The Leftovers. 4 episodes in and I’m hooked.

I watched Malcolm in the Middle last summer for the first time. Pretty fun.

Started Justified a week or two back and I'm slowly making my way through

I’m doing this with a lot of British/Irish/Aussie shows that I’ve just found out about.

Just watched the second season first episode of The Leftovers. I’ve never seen anything like it. Was this show super talked about? If so, how did I miss it? If not, why?

Critically acclaimed but it did not have a huge audience. It definitely had a devoted, Lost-esque following, though. Incredible show. There’s probably a thread about it.

It was a bit of a IYKYK show. But it was certainly lauded and talked about. I think we have a dedicated thread about it here on RM. Please, let us know your thoughts when you get to the end. I'll be excited to hear your take once you've seen the whole thing.

I think it's absolutely one of the best shows ever on HBO.
