Loved it.

One of the best movies Ive seen a while tbh. I am admittedly a big Gosling fan.

I will admit until the star of the show rocked up I was questioning the movie.

But I totally fell in love.

Like Mecca, I teared up multiple times throughout and had a ton of fun. It followed the book, a book I absolutely devoured, almost exactly. I think criticism of its length are fair but I didn't care. Give me an extended director's cut with more of the science stuff added in. I loved it all.

Yup, all this. As a huge fan of the book, I was blown away by how perfect an adaptation it was.

It's a super flawed movie with very little stakes when you really look at it.

I don't know what this means. The execution of book to film is nearly flawless in my opinion, and the stakes of the storyline are pretty much as massive as they get.
