My wife once asked me what my dream job would be. I said 12th man on the New York Knicks: you get courtside seats every night to my favorite basketball team, get to hang out with the players and in a blowout even get to play for a couple of minutes in garbage time. No pressure, pure fan fun. Boom’s job is a close second: play a few notes on organ, hold your hand to your heart every 4-6 minutes like they just touched the heavens on a version of Hallelujah, and hang out with your favorite band for 3 months out of the year.
