I don't believe we have a catch-all Alien franchise thread so I guess I'll throw this here:

A Rare Version of Alien3 Just Secretly Landed on Streaming

They do state that in the article. Looks like the 2010 Blu-Ray did go through post-production, which sounds like what is streaming.

Never really made the leap to Blu-Ray, I own exactly two. But even with how few films I watch these days I might look for the Anthology set.

Yeah, the BD version has had considerable extra work done over the DVD version. The extra audio cleanup is especially important. That’s definitely the version to watch. And if you’ve never seen it, it is a night-and-day improvement over the theatrical cut. Man I love Alien3.

That's the only version of Alien 3 I've seen and maybe that's why I like so goddamn much? Alien 3 is great.

Oooh. Looks like all the Alien and Predator movies are currently streaming. Now may be my chance to get them all watched. I’ve not seen any of them since the second of each franchise.

It’s a bummer how bad the Predator franchise is. I don’t how you fuck that up so badly so many times. You’d think it’d be an easy formula.

Do aliens actually probe humans?
And they say that a hero could save us
