I tuned in for the Packers pick at 52, and was then subjected to the punter announcing the Colts pick at 53. Damn these shorter pick clocks.

I don't even watch the draft or even pay much attention to the lead up to the draft anymore. You never know until some time has passed whether a player works out or not. Even the most talented players become busts sometimes, and sometimes the unexpected prospects become the best players. Just have to wait and see and it's so stupid how people have such strong convictions when nobody knows what's going to happen. lol

It is the most overrated/over hyped event of the sports calendar.

And I love how the GM and head coach have to get up there on a podium afterward, answering such nuanced questions about their choices, as "why did you pick this guy over that guy, when you could have had that guy instead?"

I enjoy it enough to have on in the background, at least the first few rounds. Don’t really care about the interviews or guest presenters. I can’t imagine actually going to one.
