I would say the WORST you could say is that someone friendly to Trump egged this guy on, or that Trump's people made it difficult for the Secret Service to catch this guy before getting a shot off.
But surely they would have said that, "Hey, that's guy got past us because Trump's people kept calling us away to look at other stupid shit."

Not to mention that either of those scenarios were more likely to end up with a dead Trump than a live Trump.

why was most of his cabinet in attendance?

how is his secret service detail so inept?

how did random people in the lobby gets pics and videos of security with their guns drawn?
